After their secret destination wedding in Italy followed by a big, fat celebration in India, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be celebrating their first Diwali as a married couple. With a month to go before they celebrate their first wedding anniversary, how’s our favourite Bollywood couple planning to celebrate the festival of lights and crackers?
For Deepika and Ranveer, it’s only family time on the cards. In a recent interview, Deepika revealed that they absolutely value the time that they spend with their parents and siblings. As the family rule goes, they will not be heading for work on Diwali, and socialisation will take a back seat as they devote all their time to the family members.
Both the actors have kept occupied on the work front, of late. Ranveer recently filming for Kabir Khan’s ’83, a sports drama revolving around the Indian cricket team’s historical win at cricket World Cup 1983. He soon begins working on Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht. Deepika, who is also a small part of ’83 and will be playing Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev, is awaiting the release of Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, based on the true story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
